Iran Rushes Araghchi To China As US ‘Sends New Missile Systems’ To Israel Amid Iran War ‘Prep’

The US has mounted a significant logistical effort to reinforce its key ally amid rising regional tensions, especially with Iran, a new report has revealed. A staggering 25 C-17A Globemaster III transport aircraft have reportedly landed at Israel’s Nevatim air base since April 10. As recently as April 20, eight US Air Force C-17A Globemasters were tracked ferrying air-defence systems from Germany’s Ramstein Air Base to Israel’s Nevatim. This operation, first reported by the open-source intelligence account OSINTdefender on X, was no routine supply run, as per observers. The cargo aboard these C-17s likely includes advanced air-defence systems, with THAAD and Patriot PAC-3 systems as prime candidates, reports say. Meanwhile, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) is said to have held drills on April 21, simulating missile and rocket attacks on its bases, according to a Kan news report. During the drills, the IAF reportedly practised defending key airbases - Nevatim and Ramon - targeted in previous Iranian strikes in April and Oct. 2024. The exercise aims to boost readiness in case the ongoing US-Iran nuclear talks collapse, the Kan report adds.
