Toby is back! What an amazing experience Deltarune was. Of course I'm still recovering from the feelstrip of Undertale and I surely wasn't expecting something like Deltarune to appear into the world a week ago. When I found out this game came out, I dropped everything and beat it within a day. Like Undertale, Deltarune is an amazing experience of a game and the GOSH DANG MUSIC IS SO GOOD! I really tip my hat off to Toby Fox's music composition and arranging skills. Alongside being the designer of great games, as a musician I can't help but just be like "damn". So here we are with a metal arrangement of one of my favorite themes from the game! This battle theme I think is a huge leap forward in hypness from the Undertale battle theme and it's just an awesome piece of VGM. I wanted to do a slamming thrashing energetic as heck metal version of it but I really wanted to include the piano arrangement on the original as those jazz chords just absolutely make it for me. Those melodies on top of it are absolutely insane too. The solo section threw me through some of the hardest guitar playing loops i've ever gone through and I can't believe I actually pulled it off. I couldn't help but extend the breakdown section a bit and play on it as a super crushing metal breakdown.
