How to find fault in Electrical wiring and Electronic Devices malayalam |short circuit/Open circuit

This video is about how to find electric faults in Electrical wiring and Electronic /Electrical devices with the help of a series lamp. Note :This is for single phase wiring /Single phase devices only. This method can be used in three phase also but need to connect two series bulbs. The video contains two parts 1) Fault identification in Electrical /Electronic devices. 2) Fault identification in Electrical wiring. Fault identification in Electrical /Electronic devices *In order to find the fault identification in Electrical /Electronic devices connect a bulb in series with devices as shown in video. Connect one of lead/cable in phase and connect the other lead/cable of device in neutral. *Switch on the supply If both bulb and devices are off, then devices is open circuit. *If bulb working and devices not working, then the device is short circuit. *If both bulb and device is working fine, then the device is in good condition. 2) Fault identification in Electrical wiring *First up all check the phase ok / not ok by using tester. *Connected two leads of bulb in phase and neutral of socket /fault area of Wiring.If bulb is not working the neutral is cut or not available. *For confirming the above,if there is earthing available, connected a bulb with one lead with phase and other lead with earth. If bulb working we can confirm the fault is in neutral.(This procedure can be used to find the earthing quality also.If bulb glows brighter earthing is good and if bulb glows in low brightness is earthing is poor ) *By tracing the experiment repeatedly in different portions of Wiring and different sections of Electrical system, We can find the fault and rectify easily.
