You'll need: 1) 1 dozen boiled eggs. 2) 1 clean quart size mason jar & lid. 3) 2 cups apple cider vinegar. 4) 1/4 cup salt. 5) 1/2 tsp turmeric. 6) 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional) 7) 1-2 cloves garlic. While your eggs boil, make your brine by adding your ACV & salt to a pot. Heat on medium while stirring to dissolve the salt. Add your garlic, turmeric & pepper flakes to your jar. Add your boiled eggs to the jar, top off with your brine and put a lid on it. I always date my jar with a sharpie, then put it in your fridge for about 14 days to pickle, & enjoy! Pickled eggs are lovely grated over a salad or added to tuna salad...such a delicious snack, protein packed and a great way to preserve those homestead eggs!
