Potensic Atom 2: Quick Survey after Ice Storm

This footage was shot on the morning of January 27, 2026. Over the weekend, we had an ice storm here in this part of Georgia which usually occurs every 10 or so years. This was supposed to have been catastrophic for my area, but fortunately, we were spared. Other regions of the country were not as lucky as those of us around here. Yesterday was the first day that the sun emerged, but temperatures were well below freezing and winds were at 45 MPH which would have been impossible to fly any of the drones in my fleet. I waited until today to fly as the winds were more manageable then, but the temperature at flight time was 17 degrees Fahrenheit/-8.33 Celsius. It was quite cold to say the least. I decided to make this a very quick flight to survey the immediate area to see if there was any significant impact. The only thing remaining is ice on the ground which is crunchy when you walk over it, but still solid. I decided to use the Potensic Atom 2 as the drone for the flight today. The drone did great and other than 2 instances did I experience signal issues. But again, that remains a troublesome area for this drone. Plus, I just needed an excuse to fly since I haven't been able to do that for days. I did not use Waypoints as I flew this manually. One final thing that I want to add. The music in this video is inspired by the great Sam Spence who crafted those great instrumentals used in NFL films. The imagery of the NFL Films was spectacular but it was the music that completed the entire experience. Sam Spence did not get enough credit for the work he did on these pieces of music.
