Ladies and gentlemen, Matthew Melton here and today, it's my pleasure to introduce.... THE TOWER! If you have been following us for a little bit you might remember back in 2018 I found what is now the top half of this sky blue rack mount cabinet on craigslist in Kansa City Missouri, cleaned it up, attached a wooden base and casters filled it up with the gear that I had, and that's what I've been rolling with for the past couple years. I Ran out of space and had some new gear so I upgraded it to now include: A Warm Audio WA-2A leveling amplifier which is a high quality remake of the classic LA 2A optical compressor, A Warm audio EQP-WA - which I think is a fairly accurate replica of the Vintage Pultec EQ - My favorite effect and totally indispensable BOSS DE-200 Digital delay, used this on my vocals on the new Dream Machine album (coming soon) - Then an RCA patch-bay saves me a few trips to the back of the tower. A really cool BIAMP EQ that I use mostly as a high pass filter. A Peavy Univerb, which is actually a very cool reverb unit, totally underrated - Then my Focusrite Saffire pro 40 audio interface which is a great companion to the Tascam 388, to import all the tracks in to individual tracks in your DAW. A Logitek Audiorack a really unusual 6 channel unit, and down here a really weird 9 channel XLR patch-bay that I'm using to connect to the 8 channels on the Tascam 388, some power strips, an AEI music control panel that was actually used to control the volume levels of the music in a now abandoned JC PENNEYS that went out of business in the 90s, and for good measure, I even added in a Wavetek RF Power Meter !
