Caron Trumbo, VP of operations at the Virginia Biotechnology Association, introduced Jessica Foley, PhD, chief scientific officer of the Focused Ultrasound Foundation, as the featured speaker for the "Virginia Bioscience Commercialization Luncheon" on April 8, 2021. In this video, Dr. Foley discusses the current state of the field for focused ultrasound and the adoption and development landscape for the technology, including key challenges and research opportunities. She also shares the Foundation’s strategy for advancing the field including funding, awareness building, strategic partnerships and other opportunities for collaboration.
