In this video, myself and a mate head down the cliffs in search of some fish! I had a brand new rod to try out which was an 8ft 5' 5-35g fast action rod from Drift Fishing. We started our session, fishing soft plastics, hoping for some wrasse, pollock and mackerel. Once we started fishing, it became apparent the fish weren’t playing ball, so we decided to target some wrasse! These fish hit hard and are found deep in the water column, therefore, you need a tough, robust lure, that can search out these hard hitting brutes in amongst kelp and thick weed!
