Port de Bras Story: 1st-4th Cecchetti Technique-Inspired arm exercises + imagery

In this sequence we practice the Cechetti Ballet Technique’s first four port de bras or carriage of the arms exercises and I created a story to help us remember the pattern: Get out of bed and greet the day Bathroom to look in the mirror and get ready, look outside through my telescope The sun rises, then sets The full moon rises, then sets I was apparently having a hard time with my words that day, and I misspeak twice: I say “en croix” (a pattern moving front, side, back, and side again), when I meant “croise” (a position where the body is crossed towards the front corner). Then I say “fifth” rather than “fourth!” Did you catch these mistakes? Oops! Sorry I didn’t catch these errors in time to re-record, but I hope the spirit and content of the video is still helpful to you!
