This is the video showing white hair removal from beard (man) under high magnification by Electrolysis (Galvanolysis). It is a technique of hair removal with use of Direct Electric Current (DC voltage) for destruction of hair follicle (root). The use of direct current forms lye (NaOH) in presence of water and salt (NaCl). Electrolysis is the only permanent technique of hair removal. It is only FDA (America) approved technique for permanent hair removal and also only technique which can work on white hairs. In this video we are using Labomed Prima operating Microscope which can magnify from 4X to 25X. We are also using special camera and screen to focus and project on screen. Magnification helps us to identify the pores of the hairs even when they are fine and skin colored. Magnification also helps us to get correct insertion of the needle into the follicle. As we can see in this video the magnification allows us to see the effect of galvanolysis on the hair root. How the perifollicular tissue is liquified and complete removal of the hair root with the perifollicular tissue. Since Galvanolysis does not dehydrate the tissue but liquifies it, the roots appear fleshy and wet.
