Besides its authentic vintage Uni-Vibe sounds, the Viberator boasts a comprehensive set of controls for whipping up a of wide range of phaser, vibrato, and chorus tones. In addition to its Chorus/Vibrato switch and Intensity and Speed controls, it features a Symmetry knob that offers a variety of waveforms to drive the internal optical circuitry, from a perfect, smooth sine wave at the noon position, to warped and distorted waveforms at either end. The Vintage/Modern switch can be used to switch between the warmer vintage mode and an FET-buffered modern mode with a brighter character, with brightness being fine-tuned by a dedicated trimmer. Another set of trimmers on the side of the Viberator adjust stereo output volume, and a set of internal trimmers adjust intensity range and sweep of the effect.
