Your monthly live appointment with a leading expert in implant dentistry. Just Ask | Marc Nevins Gerrit Heijkoop welcomes Marc Nevins for a live video session, January 11th at 8:30 pm. (Paris time). He will answer all your questions on "Minimally Invasive Bone Regeneration in Compromised Sites: Esthetic Implants" and discuss cases submitted by the community. This presentation will present minimally invasive approaches to regenerate bone and achieve successful esthetic implants. The discussion will include treatment sequencing/planning, bone regeneration, soft tissue grafting and use of growth factors to minimize the extent of surgery. Dr. Nevins has utilized recombinantly engineered Platelet-Derived Growth factor for 15 years in his private practice. He will share research and clinical experience and techniques to maximize predictability when there has been bone loss and esthetic results must be achieved. 1. Should we be grafting at the time of extraction? 2. Ridge preservation techniques can prevent the need for more invasive ridge augmentation procedures. 3. Use of growth factors can reduce the need for extensive autogenous bone grafts. 4. Minimally invasive approaches are less technique sensitive. 5. Dr. Nevins will share his experience and review evidence on this topic as well as share a brief surgical video.
