They also like to charge at each other and see who the best fighter is. So I kitbashed gladiator eightbound to represent that gladiator, pitfighter and martial artist aspect of the army. Keeping them barechested and giving them crude and unusual weapons give them a brutal aspect that I like in my marines. The retiarius, secutor and hopplomachus are all iconic gladiators from Roman times and that's what I wanted to represent here. I think it worked out well!
