This is a 2-minute glimpse into my first trip as a mom, from Amsterdam to Nice to Cannes, to attend the Cannes Film Festival as a junior producer (wild!). It was my first time being away from my son for this long, and honestly… it was exciting and slightly nerve-wracking. I had a little mom guilt, a little airport anxiety and a lot of ‘what if thoughts’. But once I saw my threenager thriving back home in the Netherlands, I could finally breathe and enjoy where I was. As a parent, this trip reminded me that it’s okay to get back to yourself and not feel guilty.
