Full video of the free virtual conference held by The University of Southampton on the topic of 'Supporting effective implementation of UK placement and promotion regulations'. In October 2022 legislation will be implemented that will restrict the placement of high fat, salt and sugar (HFSS) products in prominent areas such as checkouts, store entrances and the end of aisles in UK shops. In October 2023 there are plans for further restrictions on the use of volume-based promotions (e.g. buy one get one free and multibuy deals). This conference was hosted by the University of Southampton and attended by over 340 delegates who wanted to learn more about implementing this new legislation effectively.
