A court in Delhi ordered Satyendra Jain, the Delhi Health Minister, to be remanded in the custody of the Enforcement Directorate till June 9 in a money laundering case, stating that his interrogation was required to unearth the suspected broader scheme. Special Judge Geetanjali Goel issued the remand order after Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, representing the ED, requested Mr Jain's incarceration for 14 days. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal gives his party statement on the recent arrest of Satyendar Jain by ED yesterday. “I have personally studied this (Satyendar Jain's arrest by the Enforcement Directorate. We neither tolerate corruption nor we do corruption. We have a very honest government. He has been targeted because of political reasons," Kejriwal said.
