This tutorial will show you how to install the Aladdin XT modchip in an original Xbox console, specifically a 1.4 motherboard revision. Unfortunately the 1.6 variant of the Xbox remedied the option to allow users to TSOP flash the console, so in order to run a custom BIOS you must hardmod the system with a modchip. If you are wanting to run a custom BIOS but do not want to go through the hassle that might come with installing this modchip, I would recommend looking for a older motherboard variant and going with a TSOP flash. However, if your only console option is a 1.6 or you're wanting to do this for the fun of it, you've come to the right place!
