So here it is, Philpsey re-specced to full prot to see how it compared without consecration. Notice the party composition, pretty low for a cathedral run in my opinion, but we knocked it out of the park. Yes, without consecration you will have a more difficult time holding that group aggro since you have to mainly depend on mobs beating themselves on your holy shield. Your party makes all the difference though, are they willing to wait for you to get aggro or do they want to rush that dps? Along with do you leveling out in the real world or are you a dungeon runner? These are the questions for the tanking spec at this level. Dungeon runner- go holy for that consecration, world/quest leveler- go for prot. You need to pop holy shield then body pull mobs, make sure you slap them with some "seal of righteousness" and use judge as a taunt or aggro boost. I usually kill the casters first, they will almost never hit that holy shield and do the most damage. Let the melee beat themselves up on you. *Remember, in the Cathedral every mob must be killed inside the building before you pull the boss or they all come to his aid. And as soon as you step on his stage, even by accident, you aggro him.
