Yamaha XSR900 Engine Oil and Filter Change

Join me today as I change the engine oil and oil filter on my 2022 Yamaha XSR900 to ensure that the engine is well protected and give me peace of mind, that I am looking after my bike. I like to change the oil every 5000km, some may find that excessive, but I think it is a great way to keep he bike running well for many years to come. I ordered the OEM filter from Yamaha and picked up some Penrite 10W 40 Full synthetic Oil for sports bikes which will be better than the OEM spec for the engine at high temps. The process is simple and easy for a novice to complete with minimal tools and experience, if you haven't done it by ourself yet, and you bike is out of waranty, give it a crack, you will save a few dollars.
