Two Notes Torpedo Captor X — Left line and headphone volume/signal issues

Been having issues getting a consistent and clean signal from my Two Notes Torpedo Captor X to a set of 3-in-1 (pre-amp, receiver, speaker) powered speakers and also with my headphones. I’m running the Torpedo in Dual Mono mode to showcase the issue, but I get the same signal loss on the left speaker when running in Stereo as well. When plugging in my headphones, the volume levels sometimes drop very much even tho the speaker and Torpedo output are cranked, I have to play around with the Aux connector to periodically fix this. Am I doing something wrong in my setup? Am I not allowed to use such speakers for this? With my headphone issue, not sure if I’m using a faulty 3.5mm to “big aux” adapter, or if there’s something the matter with the Torpedo or it’s output connector.
