Padron Serie 1926 Maduro 07/14/2018 | Back Yard | Water 5.0/5.0 Smell: Sweet mocha Cold Draw: Sweet dark chocolate with some hay First Impression: Sweet and Spicy at the same time, more sweet than spicy. Crystal sugar sweetness and white pepper finish. Retro-Hale a little pungent with pepper, cedar, cinnamon, fruit, and coffee. 1/3: Very syrup texture sweetness that makes my mouth watery and long sweetness finish. Dark oily and earthy. Retro-Hale thick cedar, earth, sweet, and a bit of pepper. 2/3: Same type of flavor, becomes pretty balanced. Some coffee notes comes in, and still very sweet. Creamy and great smoke output. Retro-Hale sweet vanilla and caramel with cedar base. 3/3: Creamy and smooth, very sweet, very pleasant. Long sweet and tiny pepper finish. Retro-Hale sweet cedar and earth. Very delicious. Overall: An excellent cigar. Great construction, razor sharp burn with more than 2.5" nice looking ash. Medium body, medium strength. Syrup mouth watery aged maduro sweetness all the way. Very balanced and consistent. This cigar has been rated 95+ on many plate forms each year, definitely worth the high rating and the price. I rate this 5.0/5.0.
