We started the day from Gwalior and moved to Jhansi and then reached Orchha in the night. This is Day3 of our Madhya Pradesh tour. This Video was shot on 29 oct 2022, Below are the activities we did on this day. Following is the list of places we visited and the food we explored during our journey from Gwalior to Orchha Introduction - Baija Taal - It is situated in the center of the city Gwalior. It was built by Baija Baj, who belonged to the Scindia family. It has a stage area in the center and sitting area alongside where there are steps for people. Chaurasiya Poha Centre - They serve poha from 6 am to 12 noon only. Poha: Rs 20, Its a street food cart, taste of poha here is good. Sonagiri Jain mandir near Gwalior - It is about 60 km away from Gwalior. This village has Jain Temples on Hill. As it is a famous pilgrimage of the Jains, who come in large numbers to worship at these beautiful temples. Among these temples there is Shree Chandraprabhu Temple too. Dilli Wali Dharamshala - It is about half km away from Sonagiri Village. We had lunch there at Bhojnalaya. Peetambar peeth - We could not visit this place, though we went there but that day was saturday, upon reaching the temple, i realised that there was lot of crowd, so i decided to visit the temple on our way back to Gwalior. Jhansi Fort - It is about 100 km away from Gwalior. This fort was built by King Bir Singh Judeo of Orchha in the 17th Century, Narayan Chaat Bhandar - It is an old shop in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh famous for serving street food. Aloo Tikki: Rs. 45 Dahi Vada: Rs. 40 Paani Ke Batashe: Rs. 20 for 5 pieces Sharma Sweets - It is also an old shop in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh famous for sweets. Kesar Rasmalai: Rs. 23 for 3 pieces Rasgulla: Rs. 15 per piece After this we went back to Jhansi fort to watch a light and sound show. Ticket: Rs. 250 per person Then we went to Orchha and booked our room at a Homestay developed by Madhya Pradesh tourism. Tariff: Rs. 2000 for double occupancy Mahua hill view homestay - Rs 2000 tariff on double occupancy only for stay, food not included.
