Dr. Pat Bairnes is a psychologist and anthropologist. She met Dil Bahandur Baruwal Chheti and realised he was a retired headmaster, his father started the school and he taught for 30 years. We were part of a Rotary Teacher Training Program in Ghara and a holiday program for children in Paudwar. Dil indicated he would like her to tell his story and this impromptu interview occurred. She discovered that Nepali men went into the Indian army. They discuss his family, life in Nepal, growing up in Western Nepal. Poor Peter was trying to get his camera going. They speak of local tigers. We even see a trekker from France. Dynamic little place is Ghara.
