Masai Ujiri has announced that he is joining the Toronto Tempo’s ownership group. The former Toronto Raptors president is making his dramatic return to the Canadian basketball scene with a stake in the city’s WNBA team, and fans have good reason to be excited. Many consider Ujiri to be the architect behind the Raptors’ 2019 NBA Championship win, but since departing the organization in 2025, he’s been quiet about his next moves.
