2022 UPDATE! PBS KIDS ID / Logo Compilation (90s-Now)

This is a compilation of all IDs (technically known as system cues) that have been regularly aired during PBS KIDS brand programming from the 1990s to the present day. 0:00 1990s This is the first ID that PBS aired specifically for kids programming on PBS, prior to the official launch of "PBS KIDS". The “P-Pal” characters were based on the P-shaped head silhouettes from the original PBS logo. P-Pals 0:07 1999-2008 These are the original IDs used for PBS KIDS, which officially launched in September 1999. The P-Pals were retired, and new mascots Dash and Dot became icons for the PBS KIDS brand. Dash Dot Dash Transform Dot Transform 0:31 2001-2008 Two new IDs were added to the previous four. Snow Globe Fish Bowl 0:44 2006-2008 A new set of IDs was introduced in 2006 and they were aired during the morning preschool block hosted by Miss Lori and Hooper. These IDs were exclusive to this block. The previous six IDs continued for all other PBS KIDS shows. House Photos Dinosaurs Wagon Ice Cream Night Robot 1:24 2008-2013 An updated collage/scrapbook style was introduced in 2008. These IDs replaced all the former IDs. Vents Carrots Bubbles Kite Bugs Pond Dust Nest Dandelion Sandbox Selfie Aquarium Fireflies Telescope Magnet Sheep Puddle Sprinkler Rock Climbing Frog Ants Fireworks Balls Static 3:37 2013-2022 A rebrand took place in 2013. Dash was retired and only appeared in the logo. Dot was redesigned, and was joined by her new younger twin siblings: Del and Dee. All previous IDs were discontinued. Rockstar Painting Cave Lemonade Ping Pong Tree Fling Squirrel Ladybug Zip Line Magnet Ants Fireflies Daredevil Trapeze Marching Band Beehive Frog Astronaut Grocery Store Piano Yo-yo Soccer Jump Rope Giraffe Frisbee Pogo Stick Power of 10 Bubbles Hopscotch Trampoline 6:24 2022-now A new logo launched in July 2022. Many of the previous 30 IDs were revamped with the new look, and a few new additions were aired. Painting Asteroid Hop Ping Pong Tree Fling Zip Line Magnet Prism Parkour Fireflies Daredevil Trapeze Beehive Frog Astronaut Piano Yo-yo Soccer Jump Rope Giraffe Frisbee What Box Notes: Each program distributed by PBS KIDS includes one of these 5-second system cues at the conclusion of the program. Some of these IDs have variants which include minor differences in audio effects and animation, but are largely the same as what is presented in this compilation. Each ID was recorded from WFWA in Fort Wayne, IN. This compilation does not include IDs used during the PBS KIDS GO! block. The “e/i” indicates the programming is educational and informative for children. The original Dash and Dot are siblings (Dash is older, Dot is younger). With the 2013 rebrand, Dot is aged up and now has two younger twin siblings (Del with the raccoon tail, Dee with the helmet).
