With countless hidden roads leading to stunning nature spots, one could easily spend an entire vacation simply soaking in the beauty of the surroundings. But we? We were too curious about what lay beyond the next hill, the next bend in the road. Turkey did not disappoint—it enchanted and captivated us. And the people? Warm, welcoming, and incredibly hospitable. Many invited us into their homes for tea, meals, and even grand feasts. One evening, we were treated to the most delicious lamb we had ever tasted, prepared especially for us. Despite our insistence on not imposing, we were generously offered a place to stay by a kind Kurdish family, a gesture of hospitality we will never forget.
