Final home game of the season. Southend visiting who have had off field problems all season and still the players and the fans have shown up for them this season. The one person they’ve not shown up for is Ron Martin. Once again a football club being left in turmoil by an owner who thinks they know best. All he needs to know, is to step down, sell up and do the best for the club, fans and wider community. Anyway being the final home game of the season. Fans had a lot of expectation that the players might actually put up a fight in a season of disappointment. Ah well let down again. Ref wasn’t the greatest and how did he miss the handball decisions. We never lost because of him though, we lost because the players know we’re down, have nothing to play for and for some, can’t wait to get away. Take nothing away from Southend though they did what they had to. Go find the 3rd goal they scored too, it’ll be online somewhere.
