SOURCE CODE AND USER MANUAL **F O U N D**!! You can safely ignore the appeal. Thanks to everyone who helped track these items down, especially to Nigel W, "Mr. B", and FOCAL-65's principal author, Wayne Wall. In the late 1960s and through the mid-70s FOCAL was a "conversational" alternative to BASIC for high-level language programming on the DEC PDP-8 and on many Digital timesharing systems. In 1977, a port was made to the 6502 architecture, which leaves us today with that same alternative in choices for interactive, high-level languages. FOCAL-65 has floating point arithmetic with excellent accuracy, and a "unique" way of handling strings. Usable source code coming soon (as of Dec. '23), For a PTP file that runs on a KIM-1 (real, clone, or replica), see my website (below). 00:00 Intro 00:47 Some History 04:33 The FOCAL Language 13:32 An Appeal 14:31 Ciphers and Games 19:14 Outro http://www.vanportmedia.com/PAL-1/uti... http://www.vanportmedia.com/PAL-1/games https://svn.so-much-stuff.com/svn/tru... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vigen%C...
