It's my go-to when it comes to re-discovering functional harmony. I used this chorale as a basis for my own unreleased composition I wrote for the Gaudeamus Festival called "Selig Licht," or saving light in German. I analyze scores from the point of view as a composer that is trying to gain insight on how to apply what I'm hearing to my own work.
