Every day, thousands of local women and men dedicate themselves to clearing the mines that threaten the lives of others. Today as we mark a major milestone of 2 million mines cleared, we want to pay tribute to our local staff and the incredible support of our donors over the last 35 years. There is still work to do. Ukraine and Yemen are witnessing a new age of mine laying, whilst people in Angola, Afghanistan and Zimbabwe continue to live under the shadow of mines laid in historic conflicts.
