Today, Union Home Minister Amit Shah introduced three important bills in the Lok Sabha; the Constitution (130th Amendment) Bill, 2025; The Government of Union Territories (Amendment) Bill, 2025; and the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation (Amendment) Bill, 2025. As soon as Shah introduced the bills in the House, opposition MPs raised slogans and tore copies of the bills in front of the Home Minister. Opposition parties have strongly opposed the bill, both inside and outside Parliament.
