CALM tek Cactus Alcohol Lime Malic acid Ive not tested with cactus material yet but hcl extract from my experiments. Add lime to cactus powder or cactus tar. Add enough water to make completely freebase. You can add water without fear but don’t add excess. Add vodka until covered and mix well and filter after settled. You can pull more times if you want but freebase is very soluble in alcohol. You don’t need to add lots. (Save material if you wanna pull more layer) Filter so vodka is free of dust/particles. Add malic acid until acidic. Solubility is around 50g/L but takes a while to dissolve so keep stirring. Now leave your alcohol malic solution alone for a few days. You will get mescaline malate crystals form on the bottom but very compact and dense. This is still experimental and I don’t know how to precipitate all the malate at once. First attempt was alcohol 96. I added water to make 40% and it was much better. It is possible that it may work with just water but need to test. Mescaline malate in my short experiments is insoluble in water in low volumes and vodka 40% better than 96%
