Miscreants attacked a police team, and stone-pelting left around half a dozen police personnel injured. The police later brought the situation under control using lathi charge and tear gas shells. At present, a tense situation prevails in the area, and the entire locality has been turned into a security zone. To prevent the spread of rumours, the administration has suspended internet services in the town for 24 hours. Commenting on the incident, West Jaipur DCP Hanuman Prasad Meena said that a dispute over encroachment at a mosque had been going on for a long time.
