Everyone's favorite garlic peanuts are spiced up with hot chilies and sesame oil. Go ahead and make this extremely addictive recipe and go nuts over peanuts! COOKING TIPS: Hot peanuts that are sold on the streets in the Philippines contain MSG. You may add or skip this ingredient. Fry the peanuts around 6-8 minutes in MEDIUM HEAT. You may increase the heat when you're about to take the peanuts out of the pan. do not turn off the heat while the peanuts are still in the pan. Move the peanuts out of the pan as quickly as possible (use a big strainer), then turn off the heat. Mix often to avoid burning the peanuts that are on the base of the pan Peanuts continue to cook even after they are removed from heat, so don't wait for them to turn too brown. this recipe is mildly spicy. Add more chilies if you prefer. you may also sprinkle black pepper powder INGREDIENTS For this recipe I used: 3 cups raw peanuts 1/4 tsp or 3-5 drops of SESAME OIL. Add a little at a time, 'til you reach the desired amount. 2 small chilies (more if you want it spicier) 4 cloves garlic (sliced into thin pieces) 1 tsp fried garlic bits (optional) 2 tsp Iodized salt 1/2 tsp MSG (optional) 2 cups oil for frying #filipinosnacks #garlicpeanuts #foodvilla #peanuts #friedpeanuts
