This run feels layered, tense, and deeply character-driven. Bruce Wayne feels human. The Bat-Family dynamic feels earned. Gotham feels unstable in a way that actually matters. In this video, I break down the first five issues of Fraction’s Batman run and explain why this might be one of the most exciting directions the character has taken in years.
