Social Responsibility Visit at Heart to Heart Babies Home

As a practice, on each VHC we plan a social responsibility visit. This time we visited Heart to Heart abandoned babies home. This is project run by one of the facilitators; Mrs. Irene Herberts taking care of over 50 babies abandoned by their parents; some left on gabbage pits, abandoned in taxi parks, on streets and others left in hospitals among other places. WeTook some re-usable gifts to babies of different stages from 3 months to 3 years, shared love with the kids and got to know their needs. Babies need milk, food, diapers, medical care, bigger accomodation, toys, clothing, towels among other home needs. We learnt that the home has no particular donor but sirvives on handouts from church members and the vision bearer. We therefore urge any one with a heart for babies to help out and save the next generation at stake
