North Stradbroke Island (Minjerribah) has it all. Breathtaking views, world-class beaches, friendly people and a whole bunch of natural attractions that you should really spend more than a day exploring, if you have the time. In this video, I walk the North Gorge Walk at Point Lookout. A long the way I meet a few wallabies while I take in the amazing views. This could be my favourite place in all of southeast Queensland (at least today!). This is a series in my Day Trips from Brisbane, where you can find places to drive (or take public transport) to see something outside of Brisbane city. All the Brisbane day trips are places that are easily accessible from the CBD and surrounding suburbs. North Stradbroke Island is just a ferry ride away, and once you reach the island at Dunwich, there's a bus service that takes you to all the important stops. This walk began at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday 30th April 2025, and the temperature was 22 °C (71 °F). The perfect treadmill background (treadmill TV at its finest!), or just a nice, relaxing virtual walk at North Stradbroke Island. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Thanks for watching!
