Key Installation Details: Trenching and Root Removal: We carefully excavated trenches, removing tree roots and other obstructions to ensure proper water flow. Quad Pack Installation: We utilized a quad pack system, consisting of three perforated pipes and one solid pipe, to maximize drainage capacity and prevent clogging. Precise Sloping: A laser transit was used to achieve a precise slope in the trench, ensuring efficient water flow towards the sump pump. Catch Basin Connections: We strategically placed catch basins to collect surface water and connected them to the solid pipe of the yard drain system. Sump Pump Setup: The sump pump was installed in a deep pit with ample room for connections and backfilled with large stone to prevent damage. Discharge Line: We ran a 60-foot discharge line along the fence, ensuring it stays above potential flood levels and won't freeze in winter. Erosion Control: We used riprap and cobblestone to prevent erosion around the drain and discharge areas. Critter Guards: We installed critter guards to keep rodents from nesting in the pipes and causing blockages.
