This is the 08 episode of our gilgit trip and we are going from gilgit baltistan to chitral on ghizar district ..to shandur Top.. Shandur Pass is located in District Ghizer of Gilgit-Baltistan. It is often called 'Roof of the World'.The people of Chitral have also claimed the ownership of Shandur but in international maps and the water direction makes it integral part of Gilgit-Baltistan and the people of upper Ghizer are true owner's of this beautiful landscape. The grade is very gradual, and the area is crossed by plentiful small streams during summer. We have almost drive 30 hours from gilgit to shandur pass because ther road is very bad and you can go almost in 20 speed or below if you dont have 4x4 vhicle.. so if you are going on this side you must come in 4X4 ...
