Akron Children's Hospital honors recipients in inaugural community awards program

Akron Children's Hospital on Wednesday honored the winners of its first "More childhood, please." Awards, recognizing 10 individuals and organizations dedicated to improving childhoods across the 33 counties the health system serves in Ohio. The hospital system received 55 nominations from community members for the awards program, which was created to formally acknowledge partners working to put children and families first. In this interview, 3News' Monica Robins was joined by Brian Bidlingmyer, who received the Community Hero Award for his role as chief development officer for the Akron Area YMCA.
