Modnic a female tiger who was rescued in 2007 from Savage Kingdom in Florida, undergoes surgery to remove cancerous tumors. Savage Kingdom was a breeding facility in Florida that was closed down by the USDA in 2006. Modnic along with three other tigers, TJ, Bella and her sister Trucha were rescued by Big Cat Rescue. Savage Kingdom was featured in an episode of Animal Planet's "Fatal Attractions" in 2011, documenting the attacks by tigers on workers at the facility.
