Baking Virgin: Gok Jai 角仔, my first attempt at making my favourite Lunar New Year snack🧧

This is my first Lunar New Year away from home, so I’ve decided to give this a go: make my own Gok Jai 角仔! Gok Jai is my favourite Lunar New Year snack. My grandma used to make them, but she stopped making them as she got old, and I never had another chance again after she passed away. I haven’t had Gok Jai in a long time, but I really want to have them—partly because of my homesickness, partly because I want to challenge myself. Instead of deep-frying them, I baked them. And I’m quite proud of the outcome. Still working my recipe so will share another time.
