On Prime Time, Ravish Kumar asks how a senior police officer, Davinder Singh, managed to hoodwink investigating agencies, his counterparts as well as the press and covertly provide support to terrorists. Why were state police unable to establish any links between terrorists and a senior police officer? The cop was part of a group of officers who, on Thursday, received the envoys of 15 foreign nations on a two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir. Mr Singh, who has served as a Deputy Superintendent of Police for 25 years, was caught on Saturday at Wanpoh in Kulgam district in the company of Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Naveed Babu. Terrorist Afzal Guru, convicted and executed for the 2001 attack on parliament, had also leveled serious allegations against Mr Singh.
