If you really want to experience self-progress, you do need other people, not as a dependency, but as a support. I see our human society as a big net and each knot is a person; by using this analogy, anytime a knot goes up, there is a chance for the rest of the same net to go up, that is, when someone reaches a point of self-progress, the whole net is benefitted. I remember when I was a child and I used to see the fishermen coming back from their work; although the net was there, when a knot was pulled, the closest knots were influenced, but not the rest. The closer a person is to you; more they will be able to support you in your endeavor.... or they will destroy your dreams! To cultivate a strong and positive network is essential for everyone. Here are a few points that will help you to have a superpositive network: Bring out the best of yourself when you are talking with other people. Exercise assertiveness in your communication. Be kind to others, be kind to yourself. Generate a long-term relationship based on depth. When you are feeling the need of support, organize something that will benefit them too, like a party or a nice gathering. If sadness knocks at your door, knock at someone else's door, but not with the intention of crying and complaining; instead, create a space of conversation with others. Talk from the heart, listen to others from a loving perspective and be present with full concentration.
