In this week's Friday Film I am in the Fortuny Museum in Venice which was home and workshop to Mariano Fortuny and Henriette Negrin. Though she was acknowledged at the time for her designs, especially the iconic pleated Delphos dress, somehow, during the second part of the twentieth century, her husband was given credit for everything. This is now being readdressed and her creativity and innovation is once again being celebrated and museum labels corrected!
