Royal Albatross ~ Tiaki Gets A Visit From Both LGL & LGK! She Is One Happy Chick! 💕💕 9.21.21

In the opening footage, Tiaki is following and begging after LGL who had just finished a feeding off cam to the right. Tiaki continues to beg but LGL is ready to go and departs. A minute later, Tiaki sees LGK approaching from the left and she runs wheeing to him so excited! LGK does a great skycall greeting as Tiaki is vocalizing for a feeding! They almost get interrupted by the rangers who were headed down the hill to weigh and supplement feed Plateau chick. What a shame that LGK just missed LGL!! LGK feeds Tiaki and even when he tries to leave two times, Tiaki follows begging him and he stops to top her off. What a softy Dad is! When he is finished he will head to the right to depart and Tiaki will resume her spot content to see both parents in today. Thank you for watching! They have been together since 2017 and became our Royalcam couple for the 2018/2019 season. Their first breeding season produced an egg but it later died. In 2019 their chick Karere fledged successfully. LGL laid her egg on Nov. 7th 2020. LGL/ LGK are the Royalcam couple for the 2020/21 season! The chick hatched on January 24th 2021.
