In this episode of PhD Life in Europe, my brother and I decided to take a day trip from Amsterdam to the dreamy village of Giethoorn, famously known as the "Venice of the North" 🇳🇱 But… nothing went as planned 😅 🚆 First, we got off at the wrong train station 🚌 Then we ended up at the wrong bus stop 🚖 To top it off, we put the wrong destination in the taxi 🚤 Struggled big time with navigating the boat through Giethoorn's canals 😱 And yes… we missed the last bus back! Despite all the chaos, Giethoorn was absolutely magical and totally worth the struggle.
