The Amazfit Cor 2 provides around 2-week battery life thanks to the embedded 160mah battery. Charging is quite simplified and happens with the specially designed magnet based cable – I have to say this is one of the strongest magnet cables I’ve ever tested for a smart band. On the other side – Mi Band 4, despite having a slightly smaller battery, could easily last for around 20 days. And has quite a unique charging station – which is much different to its predecessors. And in short – while both of these fitness trackers have fantastic battery performance, the Mi band 4 is the right choice for greater battery endurance. Our next major topic is the display. Amazfit Cor 2 has the larger display. 1.23 inches vs 0.95. But I think the battle is more at the technology level. And while in terms of size and brightness the Cor 2 has the edge, when it comes to colors, pixel density – the difference is huge! With its almost twice better resolution, the Mi Band 4 has better colors and sharper image shown. How about the software? Well – nowadays it’s all about the software. Because with the wrong kind of user experience, a company can ruin the best hardware in the world! Luckily both contenders are dealing well in this area. Amazfit Cor 2 has easy to use menus out of the box. There is Alipay feature available thanks to the NFC chip embedded – for the most passionate shopping addicts. It is nowhere near android pay, but … at least something. The other big thing that makes its way here is the PAI feature. Pai stands for Personal Activity Intelligence. If we go through the Mi Band 4 navigation – we can see that it is a superb device with everything necessary and all that grouped in a great way. To sum this stage up – because of the nicer display and potentially – greater processor power, the Mi band 4 feels better to operate with, but thanks to the few extras in the Amazfit cor 2, let’s say both are even in this round. Moving on to the build quality. The grade of engineering is pretty high with both trackers. We take the Cor 2 first here, and – wow – the build quality is almost brilliant! We can’t say otherwise for the Mi Band 4 – it is also exceptional, especially for its price tag. Both displays are covered by glass, scratch resistant. Different is the strap, of course. So let’s take the last round – because often this is the decisive factor. Amazfit Cor 2 costs now only $55 when purchased from Fasttech, which is almost half of what Huami were charging a few months ago. The Mi band 4 has just been released, and its standard international version trends at around 35 dollars. And we need to be clear about something – these are two of the best fitness trackers, and have unprecedented ratio for all the features that you get for your money paid. In my opinion, the Mi Band 4 might be slightly more attractive – due to its lower price, better display, and aftermarket accessories.
