In this video, I started at Siam BTS station and then took the elevated footbridge to Chit Lom BTS station. This took me past a few of the big shopping centers; Central World, Gaysorn Village, and Amarin Plaza. From there I walked (at street level) past Ploenchit BTS station to Nana. I took a quick look at Nana Plaza, which is clearly being renovated, and wandered down Sukhumvit soi 4. It really is surreal walking in the city center during the coronavirus lockdown. There are obviously people on the streets, and the few stores that are open, but the numbers are a tiny fraction of what they'd be in normal times. The Siam to Chit Lom area at this time of day should be jam-packed with shoppers/tourists. Just look at the number of people in the video! The area is dead. At times you almost expect zombies to appear... Note. Still waiting for a more stable backpack clip for my wearable gimbal to come in the post. That said, I think the video quality is not bad. Not a vlog. No talking. Just Bangkok. Pure and unedited. Map: https://goo.gl/maps/CsG7wHvSRpHNfCk4A Date: May 16, 2020. (Early afternoon, Saturday) Temperature: 30°C / UV Index: Low Equipment: GoPro Hero 8 Feel free to suggest an area in Bangkok for me to walk around. #BangkokShopping #Bangkok #BangkokLockdown #BangkokUnmasked
