Bayswater Station Closure Part 2: The Final Trains

On Thursday the 30th of March 2023, Bayswater Station on the Midland and Airport Lines experienced its last day of full operation due to the Midland/Airport Line shutdown commencing the next day for major works on the new station and bridge. The old station will not reopen after this shutdown and so Bayswater will not be available for use until the new station opens in several months time. The notorious Bayswater Bridge which has also resulted in many trucks getting stuck underneath it also saw its last trains at midnight. Here we arrive at the station at 11:30 PM from the Airport Line tunnel to spend the last hour of its operation there, viewing the last A-series and B-series trains on all the lines in all directions and then taking the very last train at the end, taking it all the way back to Perth in the very heavy rain.
